AWANA - Reaching Kids for Christ!
With an unwavering commitment to the gospel, Awana is being used to reach over 4 million kids every week in 120 countries, giving children and youth from every background an opportunity to know, love and serve Jesus for a lifetime. Our Awana club is committed to reaching kids in both our local community and around the world for Jesus, for life. Awana stands for: Approved Workmen Are Not Ashamed (see 2 Timothy 2:15)
Lustre MB Church is an active participant in the Lustre Community Awana program hosted by the Lustre Christian High School. Awana begins in the Fall season and concludes in early Spring. We gather at 6:15pm each Wednesday Night and the club goes till 8pm. We enjoy special evening programs during the Awana season to include Banana Split Night, Birthday Party for Jesus, Bible Character Dress-up Night and Grand Prix Derby. So, if you have kids ages 3 to 14, plan on joining us during our Awana season each year.
