What We Believe part 2
Man / Sin:
We believe that man was created in the image of God, that by one man sin entered into the world, and by sin death, so death passed upon all men, for all have sinned, and apart from Christ, man is spiritually dead and lost. Romans 5:12, Romans 3:23; Ephesians 2:1.
Salvation:
(a) We believe that the Lord Jesus Christ died for our sins according to the Scriptures, and that all who repent and believe on Him have the forgiveness of sin through His blood. His shed blood is the only atonement for our sins. 1 Corinthians 15:3; Ephesians 1:17; 1 Peter 2:24; Hebrews 9:22.
(b) We believe that each individual becomes a child of God by being born again of the Holy Spirit through the instrumentality of the Word of God, by repentence toward God, by grace through a personal faith in the Lord Jesus Christ. John 1:12,13; Acts 3:19; 26:20; Romans 10:9; Ephesians 2:8-9.
(c) We believe that Christ rose bodily from the dead and ascended into Heaven, where He is now our interceding High Priest. 1 Corinthians 15:4; 1 John 2:1-2; Hebrews 7:25.

Escatology (Last Things):

Seperation Unto God:
We believe that believers in Christ are to live a life that is seperated unto God, "a holy...people, that they should show forth the praises of Him who hath called you out of darkness into His marvelous light." (1 Peter 2:9), dedicated to the service of Christ and are to obstain from all filthiness of the flesh and of the spirit (2 Corinthians 7:1) as further defined in Colossians 3:1-9.
