About Us

Learn more about our church family on this page

Lustre MB Church is a family friendly church. We have Sunday School ministry for all ages. We have a nursery ministry for mom and dad so that they can enjoy the main service. We have youth sponsors that work with our teen-agers and we participate in a community wide Awana program Cubbies, Sparks, T&T and TREK. We are also heavily involved in summer camp ministry at Beacon Bible Camp located 20 miles south of our location.
Lustre MB Church members seek new and fresh ways to serve the pressing needs of today's people of faith. Though we are located in rural Montana we have people traveling all over the world each year to share the love of Jesus by both word and action! Some of the countries we have been to over the years are: Israel, Austrailia, Haiti, Kenya, Philippines, Panama, India, Afghanistan, Austria, Bolivia, Peru, Romania, England, South Africa, Croatia, Japan, and many others!

Church History

Lustre Mennonite Brethren Church was established to meet the needs of Mennonite homesteaders who came to America in th early 1900's fleeing persecution in Russia and Ukraine. Though we are rural at heart, our church has found itself on the front lines of cross-cultural ministry as we witness the Gospel to people from all over the world. On any given Sunday you might run into someone who speaks Korean, Chinese, South Afrikaan, Ethiopian, Spanish or Russian. Since Jesus died for all men, it is our privaledge to share the Gospel to all people, by all means, in all places. Lustre MB is a member of Mennonite Brethren USA and also an active member in the MB Central District Conference. As a member of the Mennonite Brethren denomination, our church seeks to be a place of warm welcome and fellowship for all people interested in learning more about God, the Bible, and the Truth claims of the Christian Faith.
